“If I have to stir it, it’s homemade”

Flavor

I have learned that there are so many ways to make 1 dish, but it all comes down to the flavor of that dish. You can use some of the most expensive ingredients, the healthiest ingredients, whatever, but what really matters is the flavor… And that’s the only way I know how to cook! I have been tweaking recipes for years now to intensify the flavors of dishes (sometimes that means making it extra unhealthy lol) and I don’t think I’ll ever stop.

“I think this needs extra garlic”

“Yeah, just a bit more butter”

“There is no way that’s enough salt…”

Below are a few dishes that I like to make for my little family of 2 ๐Ÿ™‚ (4 years later, I still have no idea how to cook for 2 people)

Remember, cook to taste. Always be tasting your creations!!!

Grandma’s Spaghetti

This is probably my absolute favorite meal growing up. I never realized how something could taste so…homey, and be so easy to make!

Josh Weissman’s Texas Toast Smash Burgers

Holy crap, these are one thing you have to experience in your life! So incredibly messy, which means it’s so incredibly delicious!

Scrambled Eggs

Yes. Scrambled Eggs. These are an every morning request on family trips… I make the eggs, Jen makes the bacon, and whoever else makes the mimosas ๐Ÿ˜‰

Clem’s Dump Chili

Growing up, I never experienced chili like this until I married into The Clem’s…. And no, we don’t eat it with a cinnamon roll, you weirdo’s.

S.O.S.

Another one of my favorite meals growing up, S.O.S. This was a major staple in the military as it was extremely cheap and easy to make, but boy do I demolish this stuff!

Hmmm

Healthy

Yes, even though I cook with lots of flavor doesn’t mean I don’t like to eat healthy… Or at least healthier than the recipes above ๐Ÿ˜‰
